Pernille has worked in the fused glass technique since 2003, continuously exploring the medium, its limits but more interesting its endless possibilities. Her ties to her home country of Denmark are a strong source of inspiration. It is also there where the first classes in fused as well as glass bead making were born. Her back ground as a behavioral ecologist working in the arctic, works as an inner engine thriving for the peace and equilibrium found there trying to infuse that into her art glass.

At Boomerang Glass Art you'll find functional fused glassware in the form of; candle bridges, platters, catch-it-alls, fused glass bracelets,  ornaments, vessel sinks and more.  Pernille makes one-of-a-kind handmade glass beads. The necklaces, bracelets and finger ring jewelry are created from these in combination with solid rubber, stainless steel, sterling silver, leather and freshwater beads.
